Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services and website ("Services") provided by Albatross. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

About Albatross

Albatross is a premium flight deal curation service operated by aviation experts. We manually research, verify, and deliver exceptional flight deals to subscribers via email. Our team uses over a decade of expertise and travel experience in 30+ countries to find deals automated systems miss.

Our Services

Flight Deal Curation Service

We send 5–10 hand-picked, verified flight deals via email three times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)—up to 1500 deals per year.

Important: We are NOT a travel agency, booking platform, or airline. We curate and share deals with direct booking links to airlines or trusted partners. You book directly and control your transaction.

Global Coverage

Deals feature departures from major airports in North America (US & Canada), Europe, Asia, Oceania, and other regions. Most include multiple departure options.

Deal Characteristics

• Frequency: 3 emails/week with 5–10 deals
• Timing: Deals are time-sensitive; most expire in under 48 hours
• Availability: Prices and seats change constantly; may sell out quickly
• Value: Curated for quality, not just low prices; no hidden fees

Service Limitations

Deal alerts are subject to:

• Constant price changes by airlines
• Limited seat inventory and quick sell-outs
• Fare class restrictions or blackout dates
• No guarantees on price, availability, or specific destinations/times

Users are responsible for verifying all details (price, schedules, terms, baggage, fees) before booking.

Membership and Subscription

Subscription Plans

• Annual Plan: $49.99 USD per year, billed annually
• No contracts; cancel anytime (effective end of billing period)

Currency: All in USD; bank handles conversions and fees.

Free Trial Period

• Duration: 7 days (exactly 168 hours from signup)
• Automatic Conversion: Converts to paid unless cancelled before expiration
• One Trial Rule: One per customer lifetime
• Immediate Charges: Prior trial users charged on new signup

Payment Processing

• Processor: Stripe (secure; we store no full card details)
• Auto-Renewal: Continues until cancelled
• Failed Payments: Retried up to 14 days before suspension

Account Management

• Update email/preferences via dashboard or hello@albatross.flights
• You are responsible for account security and valid email

Cancellation Policy

Self-Service Cancellation

Cancel via:

1. Account dashboard at albatross.flights
2. Unsubscribe link in emails
3. Email to support@albatross.flights

Cancellation Effects

• Effective end of billing period
• Full access until then
• No prorated refunds
• Confirmation email sent

Distinction: Unsubscribing from emails does NOT cancel subscription or stop billing.

Refund Policy

No refunds for partial periods. Payments final once processed.

Exceptions (case-by-case, first 14 paid days only):

• Technical delivery failures
• Billing errors
• Service quality issues

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Share/resell deals or access
• Create multiple accounts to abuse trials
• Republish/redistribute content commercially
• Use bots/scrapers
• Reverse engineer curation process
• Violate laws or harm services

Violations may lead to termination without refund and legal action.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

All content, deals, methodology, website, branding owned by Albatross and protected by IP laws.

Limited License

Non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only.

Restrictions

No reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use without written consent.

Third-Party Services

• Booking links redirect to airlines/partners; subject to their terms
• We may earn commissions (no extra cost to you)
• Payments via Stripe; emails via third-party providers
• We curate independently, based on value

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimers

Services "AS IS" without warranties. We disclaim:

• Accuracy of prices/availability
• Uninterrupted access
• Specific deals or savings
• Error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Price changes/sold-outs
• Booking/travel issues
• Service downtime
• Third-party failures
• Currency fees

Total liability capped at amount paid in prior 12 months or $100 USD (whichever less).

User Responsibilities

• Verify all booking details independently
• Act quickly on deals
• Comply with laws
• Accept risks of dynamic pricing and flexibility needs

Data Protection and Privacy

Governed by Privacy Policy at albatross.flights/privacy-policy.

We collect: email, payment info (via Stripe), activity.

Rights: access, correct, delete, export data via hello@albatross.flights.

We never sell/share data; use industry security.

Account deletion: irreversible, immediate, no refund.

Service Management

Availability

May suspend for maintenance, issues, or force majeure; no uninterrupted guarantee.

Modifications

We may change services, pricing (new subscribers), frequency, or features without notice. Material changes notified to existing users.

Termination

We may terminate access anytime for violations, fraud, non-payment, or abuse. No refunds.

Consent to:

• Deal alerts (Mon/Wed/Fri)
• Account/billing notifications

Geographic Availability

Global deals, but optimized for major airports. International users: USD billing; local laws may apply.

Customer Support

Via email support@albatross.flights or albatross.flights/contact.

Scope: account, billing, technical issues (not bookings/airlines).

Response: 2–3 business days (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM EST).

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governed by US laws.

Disputes: 30-day informal negotiation, then binding AAA arbitration (individual only; no class actions). Exceptions for IP/urgent injunctive relief.

General Provisions

• Severability: Invalid provisions don't affect others.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms + Privacy Policy.
• No Waiver/Assignment: Waivers in writing; we may assign.
• Force Majeure: No liability for uncontrollable events.
• Survival: Key sections survive termination.

Updates to Terms

We may revise anytime; post updated version with new date. Material changes: 30-day notice via email/website. Continued use = acceptance. Review periodically.
